Flight searches for summer travel in 2025 have increased by 7% compared to the previous year, with France experiencing a significant 35% rise in outbound travel searches. Ireland, Canada, and Saudi Arabia follow closely behind. Germany and the United Arab Emirates are also witnessing strong momentum, indicating robust travel intent across key markets.

In 2025, several destinations have emerged as top summer choices for Emirates travelers, particularly in the Far East, Indian Ocean, and Europe.

Vietnam has become a popular destination this summer with a notable 61% increase in interest and booking demand. Emirates operates flights to three cities in Vietnam: Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and Da Nang via Bangkok. These flights offer seamless connections to major European cities and American hubs.

Mauritius continues to attract travelers with a 41% rise in flight searches as the second most sought-after destination on the Emirates network this summer. The airline provides two daily flights on its A380s. Sri Lanka has seen a 32% increase due to its cultural attractions, beaches, tea country, and affordable luxury experiences.

Japan remains appealing to global explorers with a 28% growth in flight searches compared to last year. Emirates operates flights to Tokyo Narita, Tokyo Haneda, and Osaka.

France completes the top five destinations with a solid 25% boost in interest. Emirates is meeting traveler demand by serving Paris with multiple weekly flights including daily A380 services; Nice with daily A380 service; and Lyon with daily A350 flights.

Emirates has observed a 13% rise in flight searches within the UAE overall. There is an increase in interest for destinations such as Sri Lanka, Jordan, France, India, Lebanon, and Morocco. Travelers from the US are focusing more on African destinations like Egypt, Kenya, and South Africa while UK travelers show increased interest towards New Zealand, Australia, Japan among others.
