Etihad Airways has launched its inaugural flight from Abu Dhabi to Atlanta, marking the airline's first-ever service to the city. The A350-1000 aircraft began operating on July 2 with four weekly flights, which are expected to increase to daily services by winter. This new route is part of Etihad's expansion into North America, adding Atlanta as its seventh destination in the region.

IndiGo has expanded its reach into Northern Europe with new routes from Mumbai to Manchester and Amsterdam. These flights commenced on July 1 and 2, respectively, using a damp-leased Boeing 787-9. This marks IndiGo's first direct service in Northern Europe beyond codeshare agreements.

Emirates celebrated 15 years of operations in Prague with a special-liveried A380 aircraft event. Since beginning flights to Prague on July 1, 2010, Emirates has carried over three million passengers between the two cities. The anniversary was marked by deploying an A380 for a photographic opportunity.

Edelweiss Air has introduced a twice-weekly Airbus A340-300 service from Zurich to Halifax starting July 3. This marks the first regular service between these two cities and contributes to Halifax having ten European links this year.

Ethiopian Airlines launched its first flight from Addis Ababa to Porto on July 2. The route includes a stopover in Madrid but does not offer fifth freedom traffic rights. Ethiopian had initially planned for Lisbon but opted for Porto due to slot constraints at Lisbon Airport.

Oman Air resumed passenger flights between Muscat and Amsterdam after KLM ceased operations in 2023. The four weekly Boeing 787-9 services began on July 1 and align with Oman Air’s primary European departure schedule.

Kenya Airways inaugurated its Nairobi-London Gatwick route on July 3, complementing its existing Heathrow services. With three weekly departures using a Boeing 787-8, Kenya Airways aims to enhance connectivity and market share in London.
