Emirates expands premium economy services to Male and Colombo

Emirates has announced the expansion of its Premium Economy offering on flights to Male and Colombo. The airline will introduce its retrofitted Boeing 777 aircraft on these routes, featuring newly configured cabins and the acclaimed Premium Economy class.

From July 18, Emirates will operate its four-class Boeing 777 on flights EK650/651 between Dubai and Colombo. This addition makes it the second daily flight to Sri Lanka with Premium Economy seats. Currently, over 40 destinations in Emirates' network offer this class.

For travelers heading to the Maldives, Emirates has deployed the retrofitted Boeing 777 on flights EK656/657 and EK660/661 between Dubai and Malé. These services include a refreshed cabin experience with options across four classes: First Class, Business Class, Premium Economy, and Economy.

The flight schedule for these routes includes:

- Flight EK656 departs Dubai at 02:30 hrs, arriving in Malé at 07:40 hrs.

- Return flight EK657 leaves Malé at 09:15 hrs, reaching Dubai by 12:15 hrs.

- Flight EK660 leaves Dubai at 10:10 hrs for Malé, arriving at 15:30 hrs.

- Return flight EK661 departs from Malé at 18:25 hrs to arrive in Dubai by 21:25 hrs.

- Flight EK650 to Colombo departs from Dubai at 02:40 hrs, arriving by 08:35 hrs.

- Return flight EK651 leaves Colombo at 10:05 hrs for a Dubai arrival by 12:55 hrs.

Tickets can be booked through various channels including emirates.com and travel agents.

The Boeing 777 features eight First Class suites, forty Business Class seats arranged in a one-two-one configuration, twenty-four spacious Premium Economy seats arranged two-four-two with adjustable headrests for added comfort. It also includes ergonomically designed economy seating.

Premium Economy passengers benefit from an increased baggage allowance of up to thirty-five kilograms checked-in and ten kilograms carry-on. The introduction of these services underscores Emirates' commitment to providing premium travel experiences across its network.
