Norse Atlantic Airways is set to suspend its transatlantic service between Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport and New York John F. Kennedy Airport this winter. The final flight on this route will be on October 17, 2025, according to aviation analytics company Cirium.

This announcement follows the recent discontinuation of three other US routes: London Gatwick to Las Vegas, Oslo to Miami, and Berlin to Miami. A spokesperson for Norse Atlantic Airways stated: “Our new route launches for W25 great commercial opportunities based on demand trends and fits well with our overall Network and assets utilization. We consider current routes for winter finalized, and consequently we will unfortunately not be serving BERMIA, LGWLAS or OSLMIA upcoming winter season. However, we hope to return, and monitor market opportunities closely.”

In response to these changes, Norse Atlantic Airways is shifting its focus towards Eastbound routes this winter. The airline plans to launch a direct route between Manchester Airport and Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport on November 26, 2025. This will be Manchester's first direct flight to Thailand’s capital.

The Norwegian airline has also announced additional new routes from Stockholm Arlanda and London Gatwick to Bangkok starting in October 2025. Furthermore, there will be direct flights from Oslo Airport and Stockholm Arlanda Airport to Phuket International Airport commencing in December 2025.

Currently operating eight Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners with an average age of 7.1 years, Norse Atlantic Airways awaits the delivery of one more Boeing 787-9 aircraft. The fleet is configured with two classes: premium economy seating for 56 passengers and economy class for 282 passengers.
