Emirates, a prominent airline known for its extensive widebody aircraft fleet, operates a total of 264 widebody planes. Among these, the airline manages 129 Boeing 777s. These aircraft include both the Boeing 777-300ER and the ultra-long-range Boeing 777-200LR models.

The high-capacity configurations of these aircraft are used on several routes. According to data from Cirium, Emirates plans to operate nearly 9,000 flights coded as 77W in July, carrying over three million seats. Two routes with more than 100 scheduled flights each month are from Dubai International Airport to New Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport and Velana International Airport in the Maldives.

On these routes, the planes have significant seating capacity—44,640 seats for New Delhi and 42,064 for the Maldives route. While New Delhi serves many business travelers and migrant workers due to its status as India's capital city, the Maldives is predominantly a leisure destination.

Emirates also operates five other routes with flight frequencies ranging between 90 and 99 times per month. The busiest among these is from Dubai to Riyadh at King Khalid International Airport with an average distance of just over 500 miles.

In terms of twice-daily flights (62 per month), key destinations include major European cities like Athens and Rome; African cities such as Cape Town; Asian destinations including Jakarta; and U.S. cities like Boston Logan.

Long-haul routes in the United States dominate Emirates' longest scheduled services using their Boeing 777-300ERs with distances exceeding 5,000 miles.

As part of its future plans, Emirates has ordered a significant number of new-generation Boeing 777X aircraft—a total of about one-third of all orders recorded by Boeing for this model type—further emphasizing its commitment to operating large-capacity planes.
