Federal Express Corporation (FedEx) has partnered with Singapore-based QuikBot Technologies to introduce autonomous delivery robots in selected commercial buildings in Singapore. This initiative marks FedEx's first deployment of delivery robots in the country, aiming to enhance last-mile deliveries through automation.

After a successful six-month pilot at South Beach Tower and Mapletree Business City, these robots are now operational at both locations, with plans for further expansion by the end of 2025. The collaboration allows FedEx couriers to drop off parcels at QuikBot’s Forward Fulfillment Depot within each building cluster. QuikBot staff then verify and load the parcels into secured QuikBoxes, which are delivered autonomously by mobile robots.

Eric Tan, Managing Director of FedEx Singapore, stated: “Delivering in dense urban environments like Singapore requires fresh perspectives and cutting-edge technology.” He added that this partnership embodies FedEx’s commitment to enhancing urban logistics through automation.

Alan Ng, Founder and CEO of QuikBot Technologies, highlighted the significance of this partnership as it marks the commercial launch of their Agentic-AI-Powered Interoperable Robotics Platform for Urban Logistics. Ng noted that their platform addresses challenges such as labor shortages and rising emissions while supporting long-term workforce sustainability.

This effort is part of FedEx’s broader strategy to revolutionize last-mile delivery in high-rise commercial hubs across Singapore.
