Christopher J. Nassetta CEO at Hilton Worldwide | Official Website

The Waldorf Astoria New York has reopened its doors to guests after a multibillion-dollar renovation, months ahead of the anticipated schedule. Initially set to open in September, the hotel began a phased reopening on Tuesday. Rooms and dining venues are now available for guests, as shared by the company.

Chris Nassetta, president and CEO of Hilton, stated, "In many ways, Waldorf Astoria New York is the most important hotel in the world. It is the original luxury property and the place where luxury service was perfected. It not only holds a special place in Hilton's history but also in modern history." He added that they are building on this legacy with this new chapter for the iconic property.

The hotel features 375 guest rooms and 372 Waldorf Astoria-branded residences. Most rooms exceed 570 square feet and are designed to resemble private apartments with leather, polished woods, and tailored upholstery. The marble bathrooms include walk-in showers and separate dressing areas.

Guests will experience the hotel's signature scent, 301 Park Avenue, throughout its public spaces and residences.
