Federal Express Corporation, widely known as FedEx, has been honored with the Elite Enterprise Partnership Award 2025 by the Hong Kong Customs and Excise Department (C&ED). This marks the fourth consecutive year that FedEx has received this recognition. The award underscores the company's success in improving customs clearance and compliance processes through collaboration with local authorities and its ongoing contributions to the logistics industry.

Since becoming an Authorized Economic Tier 2 Operator (AEO) in 2014, FedEx has continued to enhance supply chain efficiency and ensure seamless operations. In December 2024, FedEx signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with C&ED for the Cross-boundary Express Cargo Clearance Facilitation Arrangement (CEFA), making it the first company to join this initiative. CEFA aims to improve customs clearance efficiency for inbound shipments, aiding local e-commerce development and enhancing trade flow between Hong Kong and other cities in the Greater Bay Area.

Anthony Leung, managing director of FedEx Hong Kong and Macau, stated: “We are honored to receive the Elite Enterprise Partnership Award for the fourth consecutive year, highlighting our dedication to customs clearance excellence and operational efficiency.” He added that their collaboration with C&ED strengthens their capabilities to provide comprehensive global delivery and digital solutions.

FedEx is also investing in smart technologies to offer flexible services supporting local commerce growth and cross-border trade. A notable partnership is with Hongkong Post to expand a self-collection network for inbound shipments across over 700 locations in Hong Kong, which enhances last-mile delivery capability and improves customer experience.
