Brussels Airlines will continue its special "party flights" to Brussels Airport for the Tomorrowland Belgium 2025 festival, despite a significant fire that damaged the festival's main stage just days before the event. Festival organizers have constructed a new stage to ensure the event goes on as planned.

The Belgian airline completed the first of seven exclusive party flights on Wednesday, which will transport over 1,000 passengers from various European cities to Brussels. The airline is also hosting ten "Gate Parties" at airports across Europe leading up to the festival.

According to Brussels Airlines, its party flights will not be canceled following Wednesday's fire in Boom, about 30km north of Brussels. The airline has partnered with Tomorrowland since 2012 and operates an Airbus A320neo called 'Amare' with a special livery and onboard features for passengers.

The first party flight, SN1687 from Ibiza to Brussels, was completed before the fire occurred. A total of seven flights are scheduled from cities like Barcelona, Copenhagen, and Vienna. The Tomorrowland festival opens today at 14:00 local time and runs over two weekends.

In a statement, Brussels Airlines expressed solidarity with the festival and confidence in delivering a magical experience: "Even though a fire damaged the mainstage of the festival, the festival continues, and so do the legendary party flights. Over 25,000 Global Journey travelers from 165 countries will make Belgium the beating heart of global unity and music."

Tomorrowland attracts approximately 400,000 attendees over two weekends. The 'Global Journey' program involves partners like Brussels Airlines to streamline travel by integrating transport modes including flights, trains, buses, accommodation, and tickets under one booking.

This year sees a record 50,000 Global Journey packages sold; over half involve flying with Brussels Airlines. Each ticket includes Full Madness festival access and free transport from accredited hotels.

Airline customers can check luggage directly at a baggage drop-off point at DreamVille campsite area where airline representatives offer assistance. Special features on 'Amare' include augmented reality elements viewable through social media apps.

Brussels Airport will host live music performances on July 16-17 and July 23-24; DJ sets are planned for July 21 and July 28. A Tomorrowland pop-up store will debut in BRU's Pier A this year.
