Emirates is set to increase its flight capacity between Dubai International Airport and Dublin by adding a third daily return flight starting in late October. The new addition will feature an early morning departure from Dubai, returning to the Middle East in time for connecting flights.

The airline plans to use the Boeing 777-300ER for this new service, similar to its existing twice-daily flights on the same route. While this aircraft does not include Emirates' new premium economy cabin, it offers business class seats and first-class suites.

According to Emirates, "the third daily flight will operate utilizing a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft set in a three-class configuration, offering customers 8 private suites in first class, 42 lie-flat seats in business class and 304 spacious seats in economy class."

The additional flight aims to provide Irish travelers with an early morning departure option, complementing existing afternoon and evening services. It also highlights increased cargo capacity between Dubai and Dublin.

Flight EK165 will depart Dubai at 02:10 local time, arriving in Dublin at 06:25. After a two-hour turnaround, EK166 will leave Dublin at 08:25 and land back in Dubai at 20:00 local time.

Emirates emphasizes the importance of connecting passengers for its hub-and-spoke model, noting that the new schedule aligns well with destinations like Sydney, Melbourne, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and Bangkok.

Existing flights from Dubai to Dublin depart at 07:20 and 15:15. These times will be slightly adjusted over winter according to data from Cirium. The new service provides more options for travelers looking to connect with other flights or events.

Emirates has secured airport slots necessary for this expansion last month. Additionally, the airline received slots for fourth daily flights to Manchester and London Gatwick.

While Emirates launched its refurbished four-class Boeing 777-300ER on the Dublin route earlier this year, featuring a premium economy cabin, the newly added third daily service will remain a three-class configuration.

"Three classes of travel for the third daily flight," Emirates confirmed regarding seat distribution on these Boeing 777s.

Fleet data indicates that first-class cabins are arranged with two rows of four-abreast seating (1-2-1), while business and economy classes have seven (2-3-2) and ten (3-4-3) seats per row respectively.
