The number of flights increased by 4.7%, with regional flights growing by 10.9% while mainline services remained static. The overall load factor dropped from 86.6% to 84.7%. On the employment front, American Airlines' regional workforce grew by 6.7%, whereas mainline staffing levels decreased slightly.
