A Boeing KC-46A Pegasus, used by the US Air Force, experienced a boom detachment during a training mission on July 8th. The aircraft, which is a military version of the 767, was in the process of refueling an F-22 Raptor when the incident took place. This is not the first occurrence of such an event.
