United Airlines is set to open its newly renovated and expanded B West United Club at Denver International Airport (DEN) on Thursday. The lounge, located near Gate B32, has been closed since 2023 for a major overhaul. This opening marks the completion of a broader project in Denver, where all four United lounge outposts are now either new or recently renovated.

With this addition, United now offers more than 100,000 square feet of club space in Denver, providing seating for nearly 1,600 guests. The company plans to add further capacity with the future opening of a Polaris lounge.

The B West United Club maintains its original entrance across from Gate B32. Upon entry, visitors reach the lobby and reception area on the terminal level before heading upstairs to the main lounge via escalator or elevator. The club is open daily from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The two-level space features amenities and seating similar to those found in United’s other lounges at DEN. Level 3 houses one of the busiest areas with a signature faux fireplace surrounded by various seating options such as recliners and sofas. Additional booth seating and workstations are located behind the fireplace and along the perimeter of dining areas.

Travelers can find buffet areas with standard offerings including sandwiches, salads, soups, and other basic fare. There are also two signature bars—one with an industrial design on Level 3 and another styled like a cozy lodge on Level 4. Both bars serve complimentary house beverages; premium selections incur extra charges payable in cash or miles.

Other amenities include fast Wi-Fi, numerous power outlets, gender-specific restrooms with multiple stalls and urinals, wellness rooms equipped with baby changing tables, two stand-alone all-gender restrooms, and a small game room featuring a shuffleboard table branded with the United Club logo. However, there are no showers available in any of DEN’s United Clubs; shower suites are expected only when the Polaris Lounge opens in the future.

The overall design of this new club aligns closely with other recent United renovations at DEN. While not offering dramatic changes compared to its counterparts in Concourse A or B East, it does provide significant additional seating—a key improvement as Denver remains United’s fastest-growing hub.

According to CEO Scott Kirby: “Delta — its chief competitor — continues to impress with Sky Club dining and amenities.” Some travelers have noted that phone booths or more extensive food choices could further improve the experience for frequent flyers seeking comfort during layovers.

Denver joins Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) as one of only two hubs where all United Clubs have been fully refreshed.
