Swiss reveals new A350 cabins with upgraded first and business class suites

Chief commercial officer Heike Birlenbach said at the unveiling: "As a premium airline, we aim to continue to deliver on our quality promise through our Swiss Senses concept. All in all, Swiss Senses represents the biggest product investment in the history of our company — and a further major milestone for Swiss aviation."

Business class seats are designed to convert into lie-flat beds ranging from 6.5 feet to 7.2 feet in length. They also offer heating and cooling functions as well as wireless charging stations. Some sections will feature enclosed suites, which are new for the carrier.

Premium economy has also been upgraded as demand for mid-tier cabins grows among international airlines. The main cabin features redesigned seats with more space and human-centric lighting intended to help reduce jet lag during long flights.

All seating classes across the aircraft will have updated inflight entertainment systems with larger screens and personal device connectivity options.

After delivery of its first A350-900 in October, Swiss plans initial deployment on European routes before launching U.S. service to Boston Logan International Airport sometime this winter. Tickets are currently available for flights beginning Jan. 1, 2026.
