Emirates has announced on X its plans to launch daily flights from Dubai to Hangzhou, marking an expansion of its network in China.

According to AeroTime, the airline's new non-stop service between Dubai and Hangzhou is part of a strategic expansion in mainland China. This development makes Hangzhou the fifth Chinese city served by Emirates and addresses the growing demand for travel and commerce between China and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Hangzhou is recognized for its combination of natural beauty and technological innovation, attracting both business and leisure travelers seeking new experiences in East Asia.

As reported by Travel and Tour World, Emirates will operate the Dubai–Hangzhou route using a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. The plane offers 354 seats across three classes: First, Business, and Economy. The daily EK310 flight departs Dubai at 09:40 and arrives in Hangzhou at 22:00. The return flight, EK311, leaves Hangzhou at 00:10 and arrives in Dubai at 04:55. With this addition, Emirates now operates 49 weekly services to five Chinese cities—Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Hangzhou—enhancing its total capacity in the Chinese market.

Khaleej Times reports that the inaugural Emirates flight to Hangzhou was marked with a water cannon salute and a special welcome ceremony at Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport. Passengers on this first flight received commemorative gifts such as tea sets and certificates, underscoring the significance of this new service. Officials from Emirates said that the new route also boosts cargo capacity between China’s Yangtze River Delta region and Dubai, supporting both tourism and trade.

The carrier serves more than 150 destinations across six continents and is known for its premium onboard services and global connectivity.
