Ethiopian Airlines has announced on X that it is now operating twice-daily flights from Juba, South Sudan, to India, enhancing connectivity for travelers.

According to Simple Flying, Ethiopian Airlines is expanding its international reach by connecting Juba with five key cities in India. The airline's decision comes amid increasing demand for direct links between Africa and South Asia, catering to medical, business, and leisure travelers. This initiative is expected to facilitate stronger trade, tourism, and cultural ties between the two regions, making travel to India more accessible for passengers across South Sudan and neighboring countries.

Routes Online reports that Ethiopian Airlines now offers two daily flights from Juba to Indian destinations such as New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, and Hyderabad, with connections via Addis Ababa. The carrier’s schedules are designed to reduce layover times, providing passengers with efficient onward journeys to India. This move positions Ethiopian Airlines as one of the leading carriers in the Africa–India travel market.
