Eric Glyman, Co-founder & CEO, Ramp | Ramp

Ramp is offering a platform aimed at streamlining expense management for U.S.-based businesses with strong cash flow. The company’s system provides automated enforcement of spending policies, real-time tracking, and integration with existing business tools. According to the company, Ramp allows businesses to gain insight into their operations without relying on multiple external applications.

Through the platform, companies can monitor all spending in real time, set restrictions by merchant or category, upload receipts for automatic review of unusual expenses, process bills using Ramp’s artificial intelligence tools, and automate vendor requests. Travel policies and expense automation are also included as features.

The Ramp Corporate Card is integrated into this ecosystem. The company states that it does not require a personal credit check for approval; instead, decisions are based on business bank account balances and other factors. Ramp says its card offers credit limits up to 30 times higher than traditional business cards and allows an unlimited number of virtual and employee cards.

For rewards, users earn up to 1.5% cash back on purchases. These rewards can be redeemed for statement credits, payments toward Ramp services, gift cards, or transferred to travel partners such as airline and hotel loyalty programs. The card blocks unauthorized charges automatically and gives access to over $350,000 in partner offers from companies like OpenAI, UPS, Stripe, Asana, and Intuit QuickBooks. There are no annual or foreign transaction fees associated with the card.

A notable aspect of the program is its welcome offer: “Upon approval, you'll receive a $500 Ramp card. There's no minimum spending requirement.” This differs from many other business cards that often require significant expenditures before awarding bonuses.

To qualify for the Ramp Corporate Card, businesses must meet several criteria: registration as a corporation (LLC or LP) in the U.S., at least $25,000 in a U.S. bank account, most operations based domestically with a physical address (excluding P.O. boxes or virtual addresses), and cannot be sole proprietors or unregistered entities.

According to the release: “It's easy to see why Ramp is an incredibly useful tool for businesses. If your business can easily meet the approval requirements, I recommend giving Ramp a chance. It's a great alternative to a traditional business card, without asking you to sacrifice things like cash-back rewards and a welcome bonus.”

The corporate cards are issued by Celtic Bank and Sutton Bank under license from Visa USA Inc., while Canadian issuance is handled by Peoples Trust Company.

“Unlike traditional business cards, Ramp is built to eliminate expense reports and keep company spending in check automatically,” the release adds.
