Aeroflot, Russia’s national airline, faced major disruptions this week following a cyberattack reportedly carried out by pro-Ukraine hackers. According to sources, the attack resulted in the destruction of 7,000 servers and the theft of more than a dozen terabytes of data.
The incident led to chaos in air travel across Russia as Aeroflot struggled to restore its systems and manage ongoing operations.
A source familiar with the matter said that “7,000 servers were destroyed and over a dozen terabytes of data was stolen in the process.”
