Eurowings, Germany's largest leisure airline, has announced further expansion of its direct flight offerings to the Middle East for the 2025/26 winter season. The airline will launch three weekly flights from Düsseldorf to Dubai starting December 13, marking the first time it will connect these two cities directly. The new service will operate on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays with departures in the morning and return flights leaving Dubai in the evening. One-way tickets start at 139.99 euros in the Basic fare.

Jens Bischof, CEO of Eurowings, stated: “Our well-developed connections to the Gulf region are by far the most popular and successful routes in our winter flight schedule. We are therefore very pleased that we can now also connect our largest location, Düsseldorf, directly to Dubai with convenient flight times during the day. Together with the services from Cologne/Bonn, Berlin, Stuttgart and Hanover, we will be offering 28 weekly flights to the desert emirate, more connections than ever before.”

The airline is also adding a new route from Stuttgart to Amman in Jordan. Starting October 27, Eurowings will offer up to two flights per week between these cities every Monday and Thursday. Fares for this route begin at 99.99 euros for a one-way ticket.

In addition to new leisure destinations, Eurowings is increasing options for travelers visiting family or home regions. From November 4, there will be a weekly flight from Nuremberg to Erbil in Iraq on Tuesdays. Cologne/Bonn’s connection to Erbil will also continue through winter with weekly Wednesday flights. The Lebanese capital Beirut will be connected once a week during winter with Hanover (from November 6), Salzburg (from October 28), and Prague (from November 7). Prices for one-way tickets start at 99.99 euros for Beirut and 119.99 euros for Erbil.

The expanded schedule includes additional medium-haul destinations across several German airports:

- Berlin: New three weekly flights to Abu Dhabi; up to eleven weekly flights to Dubai; two per week to Jeddah.

- Düsseldorf: New three weekly flights to Dubai.

- Cologne: Four weekly flights to Dubai instead of three; three per week to Jeddah.

- Hanover: New three weekly flights to Dubai.

- Stuttgart: New twice-weekly flights each to Amman and Jeddah; daily flights to Dubai instead of four per week.
