Clive Sauve-Hopkins CEO - Airport Operations | dnata

Dnata has announced changes in its senior leadership as part of efforts to strengthen its airport operations across multiple regions. Alex Doisneau has been appointed Regional Chief Executive Officer for Airport Operations covering the Asia Pacific (APAC) and Middle East & Africa (MEA) regions, effective from August 1, 2025.

In this new position, Doisneau will oversee dnata’s ground handling and cargo businesses in countries including Australia, Singapore, the Philippines, Pakistan, Iraq, and Zanzibar in Tanzania. Her responsibilities include managing a team of nearly 8,000 employees who handle over 110,000 aircraft turns and about 800,000 tonnes of cargo each year at 23 airports.

Doisneau joined dnata in 2012 as General Manager of UK Cargo Operations before becoming Managing Director of dnata Airport Operations UK in 2020. “Her track record of operational leadership, commercial acumen, and focus on safety and service make her the ideal choice to lead our business in these fast-growing regions. We look forward to the impact she will have as we continue to grow our international footprint.”

With Doisneau moving into her regional role, James Butler has been named Managing Director of dnata Airport Operations UK. Butler will be responsible for dnata's ground handling and cargo business at six airports across the United Kingdom.

Butler joined dnata in 2018 and served as Finance Director since 2020 where he managed financial strategy and business planning. His previous positions at Menzies Aviation and Flybe provided him with significant experience in aviation and logistics.

“Alex and James represent the strength of our internal talent pipeline,” Clive Sauvé-Hopkins concluded. “Their promotions reflect our continued commitment to investing in our people and creating opportunities for growth.”
