Hainan Airlines has announced on the social media platform X that it is promoting the 2025 Hainan Island Carnival. The airline is inviting travelers to visit China and experience summer celebrations across Hainan from August 2 to 31.

According to Hainan Airlines' campaign post, the 2025 (26th) Hainan Island Carnival will transform Hainan into a destination for "all the sun, all the fun." The post encourages travelers to join the celebration for "cool sea breezes and vibrant midsummer rhythms" spread across the entire island. The airline emphasizes that the carnival is an opportunity to enjoy unique cultural festivities and highlights the convenience of flying directly to Hainan to experience the event.

China Daily reports that the Hainan Island Carnival is recognized as one of the province’s largest annual festivals, attracting a significant number of both domestic and international tourists. The event features a range of activities, including concerts, food fairs, sports events, and cultural parades that appeal to visitors of all ages. Local officials credit the carnival with promoting Hainan’s image as China’s premier tropical tourism destination and note that it plays a key role in stimulating the local economy.

The article details how government departments and tourism organizations collaborate to host large-scale activities ranging from water sports to traditional performances. As noted by Xinhua, these joint efforts ensure a vibrant, safe, and welcoming environment for both residents and visitors throughout the carnival’s duration.

According to Hainan Airlines’ official corporate profile, the company is headquartered in Haikou and operates a network of more than 110 domestic and international destinations. It is one of China’s largest and most awarded carriers, recognized with Skytrax five-star ratings and multiple global airline awards for service quality and operational excellence. The airline frequently partners with government and tourism boards to support major cultural and tourism initiatives like the Hainan Island Carnival as part of its ongoing commitment to regional development and passenger experience.
