American Express Centurion Lounge at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas | Official Website

The American Express Centurion Lounge network, launched in 2013 at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, now spans 26 locations worldwide. Fifteen of these are in the United States, making it one of the most extensive airport lounge networks operated by a credit card company. Access to these lounges is primarily available to holders of certain American Express cards, including the Platinum, Business Platinum, Corporate Platinum, and Centurion Card. Delta SkyMiles Reserve and Reserve Business cardholders may also enter when traveling on qualifying Delta flights booked with their card.

Entry requirements include presenting a same-day boarding pass with a confirmed seat, along with a valid credit card and government-issued photo ID. Most guests can enter within three hours of departure time. Complimentary guest policies vary by card type: Corporate Platinum and Centurion cardholders may bring two guests free at select lounges; other visitors must pay for additional guests over age two.

American Express has established Centurion Lounges in major global business and leisure destinations outside the US as well, including airports in Australia (Melbourne and Sydney), India (Delhi and Mumbai), Mexico (Mexico City and Monterrey), Hong Kong, Japan (Haneda), Sweden (Stockholm Arlanda), Argentina (Buenos Aires), and the United Kingdom (London Heathrow). In the US, notable locations include Charlotte Douglas International Airport, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, Denver International Airport, Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport, Miami International Airport, John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City, LaGuardia Airport in New York City, Philadelphia International Airport, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, San Francisco International Airport—which is currently undergoing renovations—and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.

The newest addition to this network is at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Opened in 2024 near Gate E11 in Concourse E and operating from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm daily, it is now the largest Centurion Lounge globally at nearly 26,000 square feet—double the size of its Dallas/Fort Worth counterpart. The expansion was designed to accommodate Atlanta’s high passenger volume as it remains the world’s busiest airport.

Amenities at the Atlanta lounge include modern design elements such as floor-to-ceiling windows for natural light and ample seating arrangements. Distinct areas cater to various needs including relaxation zones equipped with wellness facilities like a shower suite and spa treatment room; napping pods; private workstations; conference rooms; printing and scanning services; soundproof phone rooms; and high-speed WiFi throughout.

Dining at this location reflects Atlanta’s culinary scene through a partnership with local chef Dehorah VanTrece for a rotating seasonal menu featuring Southern flavors alongside international dishes. Beverage service is curated by Jim Meehan across all Centurion Lounges nationwide—offering craft cocktails as well as locally sourced beers and selected wines.

According to American Express representatives: "American Express partnered with local chef Dehorah VanTrece to develop a rotating seasonal menu blending familiar Southern flavors with international influences." They further note that "the menu changes throughout the year to provide passengers with fresh new options each time they visit."

American Express continues expanding its lounge footprint with plans for new locations—including an upcoming opening at Salt Lake City International Airport later in 2025—and ongoing renovations such as those underway at San Francisco International Airport. A new lounge is also expected at Newark Liberty International Airport by 2026.

With continued investment in technology upgrades and service quality improvements across its network—including amenities typically seen only in flagship airline lounges—American Express aims to reinforce its position as a leading premium credit card provider while evolving its travel experience offerings for members.
