Allegiant Air has announced plans to launch service in Atlantic City, New Jersey, marking its second new city addition within two days. The airline will introduce four routes from Atlantic City to Florida, with the first flight scheduled for December.
The expansion is Allegiant’s third in the past month and includes a total of 16 new routes and two new cities. Just a day earlier, the carrier revealed Huntsville, Alabama as another new destination.
Allegiant's inaugural flight from Atlantic City International Airport (ACY) will begin on December 11 with service to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL). Three additional routes—to St. Petersburg (PIE), Orlando Sanford (SFB), and Punta Gorda (PGD)—are set to start by mid-February. Introductory fares for these flights start at $39 one-way.
