The company’s consolidated revenue was reported at VND35.8 trillion (roughly AUD $2.11 billion), and consolidated pre-tax profit surpassed VND1.6 trillion (about AUD $94 million), an increase of 65%. Total assets were above VND112.33 trillion (AUD $6.6 billion). The debt-to-equity ratio stood at 1.76, while the liquidity ratio was measured at 1.44, indicating stable financial health for the airline.

Vietjet’s cash reserves—including bank deposits, equivalents, and short-term investments—exceeded VND9 trillion (AUD $529 million). These reserves are supported by working capital credit lines that help maintain strong liquidity.

Operationally, by June’s end Vietjet operated on 189 routes in total—154 managed directly by Vietjet and another 35 by Vietjet Thailand—with both carriers transporting about 17.7 million passengers across nearly one hundred thousand flights in the first six months of the year.

The airline reported a technical reliability rate of just over 99%, with cargo operations reaching nearly sixty-five thousand tons handled during this period.

Vietjet expanded internationally during Q2 by launching new direct services from Nha Trang to three Russian cities and growing its presence in markets including China, India, Japan, and Singapore as well as increasing domestic flight frequencies at selected airports within Vietnam.

Fleet investment continued as well; during French President Emmanuel Macron's state visit to Vietnam earlier this year, Vietjet ordered twenty more Airbus A330neo aircraft—bringing their total order for this model to forty units—the largest such order worldwide for this aircraft type so far.

At the Paris Air Show in June 2025 (Paris Air Show news), Vietjet placed an order for one hundred Airbus A321neo aircraft along with fifty purchase options—making it one of the top ten airlines globally by number of planes ordered at present.

The carrier also expanded ground handling operations across major Vietnamese airports to improve service quality and efficiency for travelers passing through these hubs.

Additionally, government approval has been secured for investment in Aircraft Maintenance Facilities No.3 and No.4 at Long Thanh International Airport—a critical infrastructure project expected to support maintenance needs throughout phase one development at what is set to become Vietnam’s next main airport hub.

"Vietjet’s continued momentum and growing international presence come at a time when demand for affordable, well-connected air travel is booming across the Asia-Pacific region," according to AirlineRatings' recognition announcement that named Vietjet “World’s Best Ultra Low-Cost Carrier.” The airline remains ranked among the safest globally per AirlineRatings assessments.
