BermudAir, a leisure airline based in Bermuda, will begin offering new nonstop flights from Bermuda's L.F. Wade International Airport (BDA) to New York City’s LaGuardia Airport (LGA) and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) this October. The airline will serve EWR starting Oct. 26, with flights operating twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays. Service to LGA will begin three days later, also twice weekly, on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
With this move, BermudAir shifts its operations from Westchester County Airport (HPN), north of New York City, to the region’s main airports. Flights to HPN will end once the new routes commence. Additionally, BermudAir's subsidiary AnguillAir is set to launch twice-weekly service between Anguilla's Clayton J. Lloyd International Airport (AXA) and EWR beginning Dec. 18.
The airline operates Embraer E175 and E190 aircraft for these routes.
