San Bernardino International Airport (SBD Airport) has announced a promotion of ice-cold refreshments available inside the terminal to help travelers manage high temperatures. The announcement was made on the social media platform X.

According to SBD Airport's post, the airport used social media to highlight relief from the heat by showcasing chilled beverage options indoors. The announcement emphasized "ice cold refreshments," encouraging passengers to cool off while waiting for flights. Travelers were urged to "grab a beverage at Leland’s Coffee across from security screening" as a way to beat the heat.

In its announcement, SBD Airport specifically recommended Leland’s Coffee as a convenient spot for travelers to pick up a refreshing drink. The concession is strategically located just across from the security checkpoint, allowing passengers easy access to a made-to-order beverage. This placement underscores both comfort and convenience, promoting hydration in an accessible indoor setting.

The post also invited travelers to enjoy refreshments at the Tarmac Lounge located upstairs in the gate area. The announcement suggested that patrons could "toast to your journey ahead with a cold one," highlighting the lounge as an elevated pre-flight amenity. This underscores the lounge’s dual role as both a dining outlet and a place for relaxation before departure.

SBD Airport serves Southern California’s Inland Empire region and offers streamlined passenger service, general aviation, and cargo operations. The airport features concessions both before and after security, including Leland’s Coffee in the ticketing lobby with fresh-baked pastries and locally sourced coffee, as well as the Tarmac Lounge offering sandwiches, hot and cold drinks, and snacks at the gate area. According to SBD's "Why Fly SBD" page, these amenities are part of their commitment to providing efficient and comfortable travel experiences.
