Cathay Pacific expands Boeing 777-9 order with commitment for 14 more aircraft

Boeing has announced that Cathay Pacific has placed an order for 14 additional 777-9 aircraft. The Hong Kong-based airline, which is a member of the oneworld alliance, is expanding its previous commitment to the 777-9 model with this latest agreement.

The new order adds to Cathay Pacific’s existing purchase plans for the widebody aircraft. Boeing and Cathay Pacific have not disclosed further details about delivery timelines or financial terms at this time.
