Emirates is set to adjust its operations at London Gatwick Airport by introducing the Airbus A350 on some of its flights. Currently, Emirates operates 11 daily services to three airports in the London area, with three daily Airbus A380 flights to Gatwick and six daily A380 flights to Heathrow.
The airline's decision comes as it plans to rebalance its fleet in response to expected changes in passenger demand. The deployment of the A350 at Gatwick marks a shift from Emirates' current reliance on the larger A380 for these routes.
A spokesperson for Emirates said, "Now, it looks like things WILL change in the future as Emirates re-balances its aircraft with anticipated demand. Part of this will see the A350 deployed to Gatwick."
