Japan Airlines has announced a limited-time autumn campaign on X, offering a ¥10,000 per-person subsidy on round-trip flights and accommodation packages between Tokyo's Haneda Airport and Yamaguchi Ube Airport. The package includes local services and scenic recommendations.

According to Japan Airlines, the campaign aims to promote Yamaguchi Prefecture as an ideal autumn getaway by highlighting its scenic beauty and cultural landmarks. The airline emphasizes its commitment to stimulating regional tourism and providing passengers with a curated experience that extends beyond flights to explore local destinations. In the campaign post on X, JAL encourages travelers to "fully enjoy autumn in Yamaguchi, filled with stunning scenic spots," underscoring the broader travel ecosystem including accommodations and services.

As detailed in the campaign announcement, Japan Airlines is offering a substantial ¥10,000 subsidy per person for travelers booking round-trip flights between Tokyo (Haneda) and Yamaguchi Ube Airport, accompanied by lodging in Yamaguchi Prefecture. This financial incentive is designed to significantly lower travel expenses and stimulate bookings during the autumn season when demand for leisure travel typically rises. The offer is explicitly noted as "for a limited time only," signaling urgency and exclusivity in the promotional window.

The promotion goes beyond airfare and lodging by featuring exclusive services across three regions within Yamaguchi Prefecture. According to JAL staff, a standout recommendation is the National Treasure Rurikoji Temple Five-Story Pagoda, celebrated for its breathtaking autumn foliage backdrop. These curated touches position the campaign not just as a discount but as a cultural invitation aimed at encouraging deeper engagement with the region’s heritage and natural beauty.
