Alaska Airlines has announced the launch of Atmos Rewards, a joint loyalty program with Hawaiian Airlines. The initiative, shared on X, aims to offer flexible point earning, expanded redemption options, and enhanced benefits starting in 2026.

According to Alaska Airlines’ official newsroom, Atmos Rewards will unify the Mileage Plan and HawaiianMiles programs into a single streamlined loyalty system. The program is designed to "dream bigger and go further," promising travelers more ways to earn and redeem points across Alaska, Hawaiian, and over 30 partner airlines. Alaska emphasizes that the initiative seeks to modernize loyalty programs to meet evolving passenger needs by offering seamless integration and global reach.

As reported by Hawaii News Now, members of Atmos Rewards will have the option to choose how they earn points—whether by miles flown, money spent, or flight segments. The program will cover more than 1,000 global destinations across over 30 airline partners, including oneworld carriers. This flexibility is intended to provide travelers with greater control over their rewards.

KOMO News reports that Atmos Rewards will introduce free Starlink Wi-Fi on Alaska Airlines flights starting in 2026, with full implementation expected by 2027. The program will also feature a new premium credit card—the Atmos Rewards Summit Visa Infinite—offering benefits such as a Global Companion Award, accelerated points, and milestone rewards. Additionally, Atmos Communities will launch in 2026 to offer tailored perks for specific groups like Hawaii residents or frequent family travelers.

Alaska Airlines is headquartered in Seattle, Washington. It is the fifth-largest U.S. airline and a member of the oneworld alliance. Founded in 1932 as McGee Airways, it has developed into a major carrier with routes spanning North America, Central America, and Asia. According to its corporate profile, Alaska is integrating Hawaiian Airlines following a 2023 acquisition agreement aimed at strengthening its Pacific presence and positioning the Atmos Rewards program as a unified loyalty system for both airlines.
