EVA Air has announced on X that it will commence nonstop flights from Dallas–Fort Worth to Taipei on October 3, 2025. The service will be operated by a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner featuring its new fourth-generation Premium Economy cabin in North America.
According to EVA Air’s announcement, the new Dallas–Fort Worth route will begin with three weekly flights, increasing to five weekly on November 18 and transitioning to daily service from December 15. EVA Air notes that this expansion makes Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) its ninth gateway in North America. This includes existing routes to Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto, and Vancouver. The airline is the only Asian carrier serving two Texas cities. It cited growing economic ties between DFW and Asia and strong local demand as key drivers for the route launch.
As detailed in a PR Newswire release, EVA Air will deploy its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner on this route. This aircraft introduces its all-new fourth-generation Premium Economy cabin to the U.S market for the first time. The redesigned cabin includes spacious cradle-style reclining seats with a 42-inch pitch in a 2-3-2 configuration, premium leather finishes, 15.6-inch HD touchscreens, adjustable tray tables, power outlets, ample storage, and privacy panels tailored for long-haul comfort. EVA Air said this represents a major evolution in its passenger experience.
