At the US Open, Emirates organized a tennis clinic for youth from the King’s County Tennis League. The event featured professional players Sloane Stephens and John Isner, who gave lessons to children that had previously benefited from the league’s inaugural project at De Hostos Playground in South Williamsburg.

Emirates has been the Official Airline of the US Open Grand Slam tournament and began its Force for Good programme with the USTA Foundation in 2024. The initiative focuses on supporting youth development through tennis.

Six children from Kings County Tennis League attended the clinic and received new tennis kits from Emirates cabin crew members. They also got autographs and photos with Stephens and Isner before visiting Emirates’ hospitality suite at Arthur Ashe Stadium.

Additionally, Emirates extended invitations to 160 guests, including youth participants and their guardians from Kings County Tennis League, providing them with promenade seats to enjoy matches as well as access to an exclusive experience at its hospitality suite.

According to Emirates, “Emirates’ Force for Good initiative, now in its second year, aims to uplift communities and create opportunities for youth of all ages to develop their tennis skills by engaging in educational programs that contribute to their future success and overall wellbeing. The five-year partnership will see Emirates refurbishing tennis court facilities in US cities, with a total commitment of USD 2.5 million.”
