Flying Food Group mourns the loss of longtime executive Tom Maxwell

Flying Food Group has announced the passing of Tom Maxwell, a long-serving executive, on July 4, 2025. Maxwell had been with the company for 34 years, holding various roles including General Manager at MCO and MIA before advancing to Vice President of National Account/Market Development. In this role, he managed the company's relationship with Starbucks.

Maxwell's contributions were especially significant during the pandemic when airline travel was severely impacted. He was known for his leadership style characterized by kindness, honesty, and generosity. "Tom was well-liked across Flying Food Group as he led his team with kindness, honesty, and generosity throughout his tenure," a company statement read.

His colleagues remember him for always wearing a smile and being gracious to everyone. "Tom will be greatly missed, both personally and professionally," the statement continued. His legacy is noted for leadership and dedication to both his family and Flying Food Group.
