Delta adds seasonal nonstop flights from Boston Logan to Madrid and Nice for summer 2026

Delta Air Lines has announced the addition of two new seasonal routes from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) to Madrid Barajas Airport (MAD) and Nice-Côte d'Azur Airport (NCE) for summer 2026. The expansion is part of Delta's effort to strengthen Boston Logan’s role as a global air travel gateway.

Since 2000, Delta has significantly increased its operations at Boston, expanding from 25 destinations to around 70, with international flights now covering four continents. For 2026, the airline will offer service to 12 European cities from Boston. Daily flights to Madrid are set to begin on May 16, while flights to Nice will operate three times per week. Additionally, Barcelona service will start a few days earlier with four weekly flights, and both Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN) and Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) will see more frequent departures in the upcoming season.

Delta operates out of terminal one at Madrid-Barajas Airport. The airport is known for its artistic architecture and proximity to pick-up points for travelers. Madrid offers various sightseeing opportunities including royal palaces, museums, historic sites, nightlife venues catering to diverse tastes, and renowned local cuisine.

Nice is located along the French Riviera and is known for its beaches along the Mediterranean coast as well as cultural festivals during summer months. Recommended beaches include Eza Seaside Beach with water sports options; Plage de Passable with views of Villefranche-sur-Mer bay; Marquet beach suitable for families; Opera Plage which was formerly the Opera Pavilion; and Regence Plage by Radisson Blue offering fresh dining menus.

Delta Air Lines is a full-service carrier founded in 1929 with hubs across several major U.S. airports including Boston Logan International Airport. The airline is part of the SkyTeam alliance under CEO Ed Bastian.
