British Airways, primarily operating from London Heathrow, is projected to have around 300 aircraft in its fleet by 2025. In 2023, the airline's mainline fleet consisted of 264 aircraft. The latest figures suggest an increase in the number of planes operated by the carrier.

The growth in fleet size reflects British Airways' ongoing efforts to modernize and expand its operations. The airline continues to serve as one of the major carriers in the United Kingdom and Europe.

A spokesperson for British Airways commented on the development: "Continuing to revive our airline fleet videos, let’s re-visit British Airways and its collection of aircraft. The carrier, largely (though not exclusively) based out of London Heathrow, had 264 aircraft in its mainline fleet when we made our 2023 video. Has the carrier grown, shrunk, or stayed the same?"
