Qatar Airways has experienced several significant changes since its legal dispute with Airbus over the A350 fleet's surface degradation. The dispute was resolved on February 1, 2023, when both organizations reached a settlement. The airline, a member of the oneworld alliance, also saw notable management changes later in 2023.

These developments have influenced Qatar Airways' fleet strategy as it heads into 2025. The carrier is reportedly maintaining its Airbus A380 aircraft in service while reconsidering its position regarding the Boeing 737 MAX.

Fleet decisions and leadership transitions are shaping Qatar Airways’ operational direction for the coming year. The settlement with Airbus marked an important milestone, closing a chapter that had previously impacted fleet planning and relations between the two companies.
