Amazon announced that its Women affinity group at KSBD Amazon Air has partnered with Hope Through Housing to support a community food distribution event. The announcement was made on Instagram.

According to Amazon, the company supports over 14 employee affinity groups globally, including Women at Amazon, which aim to foster a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace. These groups provide employees with opportunities for connection, professional development, and community outreach. They are considered an integral part of Amazon’s efforts to build a culture where everyone can thrive.

As of 2023, Amazon directly employed more than 1.5 million people worldwide and supported over 2 million additional jobs in fields such as construction, logistics, and professional services in the United States. The company has invested more than $530 billion in the U.S. economy since 2010. These investments include infrastructure, wages, and business partnerships across all 50 states.
