Amazon has announced that its Indigenous affinity group at KSBD Air Hub has partnered with the Ya’i Heki Regional Native American Museum for a park clean-up at Perris State Park in observance of Indigenous Peoples’ Day. The announcement was made on Instagram.
According to Amazon, the company offers over 14 employee affinity groups globally, including Indigenous at Amazon, which supports Native and Indigenous employees through professional development, cultural awareness, and community outreach. These groups are part of Amazon’s broader commitment to inclusion and equity. They also provide opportunities for employees to engage with local cultural organizations and initiatives.
The company has created more than 700,000 permanent jobs in the European Union since 2010 and continues to invest in logistics, innovation, and infrastructure. These investments support broader economic growth and have led to the development of hundreds of thousands of indirect jobs in local communities.
