Vietjet has announced an increase in direct flights between Australia and Vietnam to meet growing travel demand. The airline, which was recently recognized by AirlineRatings in its 2025 Sustainability Awards, will expand its services connecting Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane with Ho Chi Minh City.
According to the new schedule, flights between Melbourne and Ho Chi Minh City will rise to six per week starting November 11, 2025, and become daily from December 6. The Sydney–Ho Chi Minh City route will also move to six weekly flights from November 13 and daily service from December 7. Flights from Brisbane to Ho Chi Minh City are set to increase to five per week beginning December 6.
Starting October 2025, Vietjet will operate services linking Melbourne and Sydney with Hanoi via connections in Ho Chi Minh City. This change is intended to provide Australian travelers with improved access not only to Vietnam’s capital but also other destinations across Asia-Pacific through Vietjet’s network.
