Cathay Pacific has introduced its new Aria Suite in the Business Class cabin on refurbished Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. The airline invited AirlineRatings to review the updated product, which features a private suite design for each passenger, including a door and divider for increased privacy. Passengers traveling together can opt to dine or work side by side.

Guillaume Vivet, General Manager of Customer Experience and Design at Cathay Pacific, said, "The Aria Suite gives passengers travelling together the option to talk, work, or dine side by side."

The suite's design includes curved lines, soft-touch suede walls, wool seats, leather armrests, and a fully lie-flat bed with cotton bedding. The amenity kit features items from UK brand Bamford and includes pillow spray, multi-balm, cooling gel, toothbrush, toothpaste, eye mask, earplugs, and slippers.

Passengers can choose seats based on their preferred sleeping side: A or G for left-side sleeping and D or K for right-side sleeping.

Technological upgrades include built-in wireless charging, Bluetooth audio streaming capability, and a 24-inch 4K ultra-definition touch screen. The screen adjusts brightness automatically depending on the time of day and allows two passengers to sync their screens for shared viewing. There is also a lavatory display showing real-time availability.

Laurent Trembley Simard, Head of Cathay Pacific Inflight Customer Experience, stated that passengers can personalize their seat settings for sleep, work, relaxation, and dining modes. "Passengers can personalise their seat and save preferences for sleep, work, relaxation, and dining. This thoughtful functionality is especially valuable on long-haul flights...and it exemplifies Cathay’s commitment to delivering a seamless and luxurious experience." He also noted that individual artwork is displayed in the galley of each retrofitted aircraft.

Dining options are influenced by Hong Kong cuisine as well as international selections. Meals are developed in collaboration with Michelin-starred restaurants Louise and Duddell’s. Passengers are encouraged to preselect meals up to 10 days before departure from either the full menu or curated Cathay Signatures collection to help reduce food waste.

The Aria Suite is currently available on daily flights between Sydney and Hong Kong. Since August it has also been operating one daily flight between Melbourne and Hong Kong as well as select flights to London, Vancouver, and Beijing.
