The International Air Transport Association (IATA) will hold its World Safety and Operations Conference (WSOC) in Xiamen, China, from October 14 to 16. The event is hosted by Xiamen Airlines and marks the first time the conference will take place in China. Participants are expected from about 70 countries, including representatives from airlines, civil aviation regulatory agencies, international organizations, and aviation suppliers.
The WSOC is considered the top annual gathering for professionals focused on aviation safety and operations. The conference aims to address important issues facing global civil aviation safety and operations by presenting new research findings and examples of technological applications. It also serves as a platform for sharing knowledge across the industry and fostering cooperation to improve safety performance and advance technological development in civil aviation.
