Alicia Tillman, Chief Marketing Officer | Delta Air Lines

Delta Air Lines has announced the newest members of its Team Delta athlete ambassador roster for the upcoming Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026. As the official airline of Team USA, Delta is continuing its multi-year sponsorship, supporting athletes as they prepare for international competition.

Alicia Tillman, Delta’s Chief Marketing Officer, stated: “We believe meaningful journeys begin with intention — whether an athlete is chasing a dream to represent their country, or our people are delivering the world-class experiences they’ve become known for. This shared sense of purpose is why Delta’s role goes far beyond simply getting these athletes or customers to their destinations. These athletes exemplify what it means to lead with purpose and power, and our 100,000 employees are proud to stand beside them as they prepare to take on the world in Milano Cortina.”

The airline will again sponsor figure skater Amber Glenn, who previously joined Team Delta during the Beijing 2022 Games. New additions include Maia and Alex Shibutani—known as the ‘Shib Sibs’—who made history as the first ice dance team of color to win a medal at the Winter Olympics.

This year’s group also features U.S. Paralympian Declan Farmer, a three-time gold medalist in sled hockey whose mother works as a Delta flight attendant. Another athlete with family ties to Delta is aerialist skier Justin Schoenefeld; his mother has been a long-time flight attendant for the company.

Alpine skiing champion Lindsey Vonn will join Team Delta on her journey toward Milano Cortina 2026. Vonn holds four World Cup overall titles and 82 World Cup race victories—the most by any American skier—and became the first American woman to win Olympic gold in downhill skiing in 2010.

Delta highlights these sponsored athletes through digital content and commercial campaigns that document their training and competition experiences leading up to Milano Cortina 2026. The program aims to foster connections among athletes, fans, and Delta employees.

Delta’s partnership with Team USA began at the Atlanta Games in 1996 and continued at Salt Lake City in 2002 where it served as both Official Airline Sponsor and Charter Flight Provider for the Olympic Torch Relay. In 2020, Delta expanded its commitment by announcing a multi-year agreement covering Beijing 2022, Paris 2024, Milano Cortina 2026, and Los Angeles 2028—where it will be a founding partner of LA28 when the Games return to one of its key hubs.

The airline showcases this relationship through special aircraft liveries celebrating recent and future Games that can be seen on domestic routes and international flights.

According to Delta representatives, this ongoing partnership reflects shared values such as excellence and connecting people across cultures—a theme that underpins both organizations’ missions.
