Federal Express Corporation (FedEx) is taking part in the 2025 International Airport Expo in Guangzhou, China. The event runs from September 8 to 10 and highlights FedEx’s role in global logistics under the theme “FedEx Connects the Globe.” At Booth D35, the company is presenting its logistics network, technology solutions, and sustainability projects within the New-Gen Airport Ecosystem zone.

The exhibition features simulation models and multimedia displays that demonstrate how FedEx connects China to international markets. These displays also focus on efforts such as optimizing air routes, using sustainable fuels, and developing environmentally friendly infrastructure. Visitors can participate in an Augmented Reality (AR) experience that places them in international shipping scenarios.

“China remains an indispensable part of the FedEx global network. By continuously enhancing its air and ground logistics network in China and leveraging advanced technology for infrastructure upgrade, FedEx provides customers with flexible connections to key markets in the Americas, Europe, and Asia. Currently, the company operates approximately 300 international flights per week in and out of China. Through its six gateways in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Qingdao, and Xiamen, FedEx connects Chinese customers to its extensive global network.”

Guangzhou holds a central position for FedEx’s operations in China. The company’s Asia Pacific Hub at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport has served as a major hub since 2009. FedEx plans to complete upgrading its Guangzhou Gateway into the South China Operations Center by 2027. This move is expected to further improve cargo hub capabilities for supporting trade between Chinese businesses and overseas markets.
