Servair has announced its ongoing partnership with Malongo, a French coffee roaster known for fair trade and organic practices. The collaboration supplies about 11 tons of fair trade coffee annually to both French and international airports.
According to Servair, this decision is part of an effort to ensure the products offered to customers align with the company’s values on sustainability and social responsibility. Malongo is recognized for supporting small producers through the Max Havelaar label, which ensures fair pricing and long-term support.
Malongo works with cooperatives in 16 countries and encourages agricultural methods that preserve biodiversity, including agroforestry. The company uses traditional roasting techniques, slowly roasting coffee for around twenty minutes to enhance flavor.
