The airport serves as a key gateway for transatlantic travel, with American deploying the aircraft on routes to cities such as Amsterdam, London Heathrow, Edinburgh, Dublin, Paris, Madrid, and Barcelona. London Heathrow is the most popular transatlantic destination from Philadelphia for the airline’s Dreamliners, accounting for 575 flights in 2025.
American Airlines also operates domestic Dreamliner services from Philadelphia to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD), and Miami International Airport (MIA). The route between Philadelphia and Miami is the busiest among these domestic connections.
