FedEx Logistics, a subsidiary of FedEx Corporation, has opened a new regional logistics facility at the Ras Bufontas Free Zone in Doha, Qatar. The launch was held on September 15, 2025, and attended by H.E. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Bin Faisal Al-Thani, CEO of Qatar Free Zones Authority (QFZ), and Patrick Moebel, President of FedEx Logistics.

The facility covers 1,249 square meters and is operated by FedEx Logistics Qatar QFZ LLC. It includes warehousing, storage, and office spaces. The site is located near Hamad International Airport and Hamad Port to allow for easier access to air transportation and freight services. The center will support industries such as retail, automotive, and technology with end-to-end supply chain solutions.

The logistics sector in Qatar is valued at over $10 billion and is expected to grow to nearly $13.5 billion by 2030. In the Agility Emerging Markets Logistics Index 2024, Qatar ranked seventh globally for logistics competence.

We are confident that this milestone will contribute to strengthening Qatar’s leadership as a global hub for innovation, logistics and international trade.”

Patrick Moebel stated: “Establishing this facility in Qatar enables us to connect our Qatari and regional customers to major markets in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and North America with greater speed and efficiency. By integrating this location into the FedEx global network, we can deliver smarter, more reliable logistics solutions that help businesses grow and compete in today’s fast-moving global economy."
