Servair has reaffirmed its commitment to increasing gender diversity in the aviation sector by continuing its participation in the ‘Féminisons les métiers de l’aéronautique et du spatial’ charter. The initiative, launched by Airemploi and supported by GIFAS as well as the French Ministries of Transport, Economy and Labour, seeks to address the underrepresentation of women in technical, operational, and engineering roles within aeronautics and space industries.
The charter encourages participating organizations to promote professional equality, set measurable targets for female representation in specific professions, highlight women’s career paths, challenge stereotypes, share best practices with other companies, and engage in collective outreach efforts—especially those targeting young people and job seekers.
By signing onto this initiative since 2022, Servair has committed to several actions. These include fostering a culture of equality at work and contributing data to a sector-wide observatory on gender parity. The company also aims to identify roles where women are underrepresented and establish progress goals. Additionally, Servair will participate in programs labeled ‘Féminisons’ that focus on encouraging girls and young women to consider careers in aviation-related fields.
