Johannes Teyssen has been introduced to the members of the Lufthansa Supervisory Board as a candidate for future leadership. The introduction took place ahead of an upcoming Supervisory Board meeting.
The Nomination Committee has recommended that Teyssen be proposed for election to the Supervisory Board at Lufthansa's Annual General Meeting scheduled for May 12, 2026. If elected by shareholders, he is expected to become Chairman of the Supervisory Board, succeeding Karl-Ludwig Kley.
Karl-Ludwig Kley will step down from his role at Deutsche Lufthansa AG after completing his current term. He has served on the board for 13 years, including eight years as Chairman.
