Los Angeles World Airports has announced an upcoming Board of Airport Commissioners meeting, scheduled to take place at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on September 18. This announcement was made via a press release.

According to the release, the meeting will be held in the Samuel Greenberg Board Room at the Clifton A. Moore Administration Building at LAX. The agenda includes management reports, presentations, commendations, and various consent and regular items for board action. Public participation is permitted through in-person comments, and the meeting will also be accessible online and via a live call-in number.

One significant consent agenda item involves approving a three-year contract with Johnson Controls Inc. for cooling tower system parts and services at LAX's Central Utility Plant, with costs capped at $300,000. Another item seeks approval for a five-year contract with Doty Bros. Construction Company for utility services at both LAX and Van Nuys Airport, totaling up to $15 million. Additionally, the board will consider amending its agreement with Lawson Products Inc., increasing its contract authority by $2 million to a total of $2.75 million.
