EVA Air has announced on the social media platform X that it will commence nonstop service between Dallas-Fort Worth and Taipei (Taoyuan) on October 3, utilizing its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

According to EVA Air's official news release, the new service from Dallas-Fort Worth to Taipei is set to launch on October 3, 2025. Initially, there will be three flights per week, which will increase to five weekly flights on November 18 and transition to daily service starting December 15. The airline plans to use Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners configured with three cabin classes for this route. This expansion represents EVA Air's first operation at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport and aims to strengthen its network in the United States.

The Points Guy reports that the flight schedule is crafted for optimal passenger connectivity between North America and Asia. Flights from Taipei are scheduled to arrive in Dallas in the evening, while those departing from Dallas reach Taipei early in the morning. This timing facilitates convenient onward travel to destinations such as Tokyo, Bangkok, and Singapore, making the new route appealing to both leisure and business travelers.

The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner was selected for this long-haul route due to its efficiency and passenger comfort. Upgraded Points states that EVA Air’s 787-9 accommodates 278 passengers across Business, Premium Economy, and Economy cabins. The aircraft features quieter engines, larger windows, advanced air filtration systems, and a modern cabin design. These attributes align with EVA Air’s strategy of providing a premium onboard experience while minimizing operational emissions.

EVA Air is Taiwan’s second-largest airline and a member of the Star Alliance, headquartered in Taoyuan. Wikipedia notes that it operates a fleet of more than 80 aircraft serving over 60 international destinations across Asia, North America, Europe, and Oceania. The addition of Dallas-Fort Worth expands EVA Air’s North American gateways and reinforces Taipei as a global hub for trans-Pacific travel.
